Cost of Living & Economic Security

Families across NY-21 are facing skyrocketing costs for energy, food, housing, and everyday essentials. Wages haven’t kept up, and many are forced to make impossible choices. I will work to lower costs by promoting transparency and competition in energy and business markets, cracking down on monopolistic practices, and keeping federal spending focused on local priorities. Every dollar should support hardworking families here at home, not Washington insiders or endless foreign commitments.

Problems

  • Electricity, fuel, food, and housing costs keep rising

  • Wages aren’t keeping up

  • Families are forced to choose between essentials

Solutions

  • Enforce transparency and competition in energy markets

  • Cut Government Red Tape

  • Crack down on price manipulation and monopolistic behavior

  • Invest in energy efficiency and grid upgrades that lower bills, not raise them

  • Keep federal spending focused on domestic needs, not endless foreign commitments
